After completing her first Beauty Therapy certificate in 2011, she quickly realised her interest lied purely in Skin and Eyebrows. It was then she travelled to Perth and began studying further into the Cosmetic field. Working alongside Cosmetic Nurses, Dr’s and other Skin Specialist for the first 5 years of her career, this gave Sarah-Mae the opportunity to be exposed to many Clinical grade treatments, gain experience & this is where the drive to provide real results for her clients sparked. From then, she was always known for closely tracking her clients progress. While working in this field, Sarah-Mae continued to study along the way, using the exposure in the Clinic as an added benefit to her.

After spending this time away and working endless hours to gain as much experience as she could, Sarah-Mae had always planned to return home to Darwin & embark on her own business journey. Envisioning a place where people would come, feel comfortable and be able to receive a professional and personalised service. Providing a Clinical and modern environment, while still having that sense of luxury. In April 2017, Lux Skin Solutions was born.
